Summary: During The Easter Experience, we will be looking at the events leading up to the resurrection of Jesus Christ through the eyes of various witnesses. Like us, each one of these witnesses had to determine for themselves what they were going to do with Jesus and how they were going to respond to his actions, attitudes, and teachings. But more importantly, as we work our way through The Easter Experience, we will be challenged to answer those questions for ourselves and determine “What Will We Do with Jesus?” With this specific sermon, we will be focusing on the fact that in His greatest time of need, Jesus' disciples deserted Him. Whether we look at Judas, or Peter, or the rest of the disciples, when things got difficult, all of them turned and ran away. The question we need to answer for ourselves is when difficult times come into our lives, how will we respond to Jesus?
