Summary: During The Easter Experience, we will be looking at the events leading up to the resurrection of Jesus Christ through the eyes of various witnesses. Like us, each one of these witnesses had to determine for themselves what they were going to do with Jesus and how they were going to respond to his actions, attitudes, and teachings. But more importantly, as we work our way through The Easter Experience, we will be challenged to answer those questions for ourselves and determine “What Will We Do with Jesus?” With this specific sermon, we will be focusing on the fact that the crowds that were in Jerusalem at the time of Jesus, quickly moved from celebrating Jesus to outright rejecting Jesus, and the some of the reason that they did so are some of the same reason that people reject him today: 1. Jesus was rejected because He claimed to be GOD... 2. Jesus was rejected because He didn't fit what people expected the Messiah to be... & 3. Jesus was rejected because He leads us to life change.
